We’re teenagers who work around 30 hours a week in food service and we wear masks the entire time.

My coworkers spend at least half of their 8 hour shifts outside in the Texas heat and they (me too but I don’t generally have to spend as much time there) wear it the entire time. It’s miserable! And of course we complain but we do it. So of course I get extra angry to get on Facebook and see my own fathers stupid anti-mask posts 😖
So politician or internet provider? (I wish I was kidding but the price for the bare minimum speeds we get where I live is ridiculous since it’s the only option if you don’t want satellite internet..)
Exactly this. They love to piss on others that are different from them wether it’s political persuasion or race or age but they are the biggest pussies I’ve ever met.

How hard is it to wear a fucking mask?
In the UK I have no idea how we’d have coped without the plethora of teenagers who work in supermarkets. Unfailingly calm and polite continuing to show up during a pandemic and act in a professional manner whilst customers, old enough to know better, bitch at them because of stock levels or having to obey the shops one way system.

This is why, despite the state of the world currently, I feel hopeful for the future.
As a young buck who works in American grocery store, this comment made me feel more appreciated than my managers have since this thing started. Thank you
They are almost certainly required to wear them while at work or they get fired. Most of the teens I’ve seen out without parents are not wearing masks, or wearing them improperly.
I see people like this photo and feel bad they have to deal with this everyday they go to work. The least we customers can do is also wear a mask in public place to shorten the time we have to fight this pandemic. The more no maskers we have, the longer this will carry on.

People give today’s teenagers crap but I think if anyone has potential to be the most like my grandparents generation (the WW2 era kids) it’s you guys. I have nieces and nephews your age and I’ve been really impressed with your behaviors and attitudes. Good job rugrats!!
For real, as a millennial, kids these days are ready to make some fuckin change. I’m so excited to see where they lead us (if, yknow…we older generations can keep the world spinning long enough to hand over the reins)
